Self Empowerment for Happiness
The keys to finding happiness are the tools of self empowerment.
What does self empowerment actually mean? According to Wikipedia, "empowerment is the process that allows one to gain the knowledge, skill-sets and attitude needed to cope with the changing world and the circumstances in which one lives."
So, here I am to help you gain the knowledge, skill-set and attitude you need to achieve the level of happiness you desire.
Happiness is a Choice. I urge you to be empowered and take 100% responsibility for your own happiness. Learn with me how you can take action to free yourself from burdens, unhappiness, negative thinking and feeling. There are several tools and concepts of self empowerment to help us work out how to find happiness - to enable us to achieve our ultimate goal of being happy for no reason.
Beating StressIt's easy to get angry when you're stressed. A stressful person is not a happy person (as I'm sure you've experienced). This was me. I used to be stressed, stressed, stressed! Uptight and irritable, and I didn't like myself for it one bit! Now I am so much calmer. The other day, when I came home from work, my daughter told me about how she nearly set the kitchen ablaze. (Well she did have a little blaze going actually.) She was dreading telling me but my reaction was... well, I didn't react really. It wasn't that I reacted and calmed myself down. I just didn't get that emotional intensity that we had both been used to me getting. I said to her "Well, as long as you've learned from your mistake, then that's OK." Now I'm not saying I wouldn't have had an emotional reaction if I had come home to charred ruins! :-) But I was amazed at the transformation. We were both amazed. So, let's go some way to choosing happiness and find out what causes us to be stressed and what we can do to eliminate much of it.
