Want to Know How to Love Yourself?
 So, you want to know how to love yourself?
Most of us don't even like ourselves let alone love ourselves, so we have a big job ahead of us if we're going achieve that goal; and from there, learn how to be happy. How can we be happy, if we're not happy with the person occupying our skin?
Vanity is Not What I MeanYou know that the person who is boastful, full of himself, vain and proud, doesn't really love themselves at all? Quite the opposite. They actually dislike themselves, feel unworthy and have a low self esteem. They deal with these uncomfortable feelings by putting on their mask of conceit. I'm certainly not suggesting you turn yourself into a person like that, when I'm talking about how to love yourself. :-) On the other hand, the people who truly love themselves don't feel the need to blow their own trumpet because they are secure in themselves. They really don't care what others think about them. Would you truly like to feel that way?
Effects of Not Loving OurselvesWhen we feel 'not good enough' we tend to punish ourselves by finding ways to make ourselves miserable. - We procrastinate about things that would benefit us
- We create illness and pain within our bodies
- We mistreat our bodies with food, alcohol, drugs or lack of sleep
- We feel we have to be perfect
So "How do I love myself so I can feel good enough?" you ask. The path of how to love yourself has many avenues. Here are a few.
